Q. do you hold conservation easements?

A. No, we protect land through fee simple purchase.

 

Q. Where do you work predominantly?

A. We currently own and manage property in Oconee, Pickens, Greenville and Spartanburg counties.

 

Q. can I hunt on your land?

A. Many of our properties are enrolled in SCDNR’s Wildlife Management Area (WMA) program, which allows for public hunting and fishing through permits. In fact, Naturaland Trust is one of the state’s largest land contributors to this program. You can find the properties that are available for public hunting here: WMA Maps.

 

Q. Are your properties open to the public?

A. Yes. We allow passive recreation like hiking and birdwatching on all of our properties from dawn to dusk. We do not allow fires, vehicles, or camping on our properties.

Q. Can I choose which project my donation will support?

A. Yes. If there is a specific project you’d like to support, just let us know and we will earmark your donation specifically for that property.
